About the role

Dive in and do the best work of your career at DigitalOcean. Journey alongside a strong community of top talent who are relentless in their drive to build the simplest scalable cloud. If you have a growth mindset, naturally like to think big and bold, and are energized by the fast-paced environment of a true industry disruptor, you’ll find your place here. We value winning together—while learning, having fun, and making a profound difference for the dreamers and builders in the world. We are looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst who is passionate about keeping the operational and financial engine of a modern marketing organization running smoothly. As a Marketing Operations Analyst at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. Reporting to the Director of Operations, Marketing, and working from general direction, you will help keep our budget administration, procurement, and vendor operations organized and on track. You will help troubleshoot purchase orders, support the flow of contracts so they get executed on time, help resolve cost center issues, and support vendor management—including offboarding and deprecating vendors across the organization. You will learn how the company’s procurement and finance processes work and grow into a dependable team member who helps make sure the details are in order, documented, and moving. Over time, you will develop deeper expertise in how marketing budget is committed, spent, and reported. What You’ll Do: Help troubleshoot purchase orders from creation through close—identifying errors, missing approvals, and mismatches, and working with Procurement, Finance, and AP to get them resolved. Support the contract pipeline by tracking status, following up on stuck items, and flagging risks so agreements move through legal, procurement, and signature on time. Help correct and prevent cost center issues—fixing miscodings, reconciling charges to the right cost centers, and helping keep the budget structure accurate. Support marketing vendor management, including maintaining accurate vendor records and helping onboard, offboard, and deprecate vendors across the organization. Learn to navigate DigitalOcean’s procurement, finance, and legal processes and help answer the team’s “how do I get this done” questions. Maintain recurring reports and trackers on PO status, contract turnaround, spend, cost center health, and vendor activity so leadership has an accurate picture of progress. Follow and help document repeatable workflows, and suggest small process improvements, implementing them under general guidance. Key Metrics: On-time contract execution rate / contract turnaround time. Reduction in open cost center and miscoding issues. Accuracy of vendor records and timely onboarding, offboarding, and deprecation. Timeliness and accuracy of recurring operational reports. What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean: 1–3 years of experience in marketing operations, procurement, finance operations, accounts payable, or a comparable coordination-focused role. Familiarity with purchase orders, contracts, and vendor/procurement workflows, ideally within tools such as Coupa, NetSuite, Ironclad or similar procure-to-pay and finance systems. Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort building clear, accurate reports and trackers. Strong attention to detail and follow-through—you notice what’s off, follow up, and close the loop. Able to take general direction, break assigned work into tasks, and manage competing requests with some autonomy. Clear communicator who can partner with Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Legal and patiently work through process steps to get things done. Curiosity about improving how things work, and willingness to suggest and help implement small improvements. Preferred: exposure to a marketing team’s budget, and awareness of cost center and general-ledger structures. *This job is located in Bengaluru, India JR: 2026-8289 #LI-Hybrid Why You’ll Like Working for DigitalOcean We innovate with purpose.
